Neas Energy Background
Originally formed from 4 Danish energy suppliers, Neas Energy ‘optimises’ renewable and nonrenewable energy sources throughout Europe, giving large companies access to efficient energy. Neas has been part of British multinational energy company Centrica plc since 2016, which services 28 million customers around the world.
Neas’ portfolio includes heat and power stations with an installed capacity of 1,700MW, and renewables with an installed capacity of 5,700MW. They operate from offices in Denmark, the UK, Germany, Sweden and Singapore, where traders buy and sell energy to secure the best prices for their clients.
They also provide IT solutions and have a team of 50 developers.
Neas Energy Smart Meter
Smart meters are not available to Neas customers as they’re not a conventional supplier.
Other Neas Energy Meters
No information is given about what kind of meter your business needs.
Neas Energy Bills
Costs will vary dramatically depending on the service and aren’t disclosed on the website. As Neas are traders, they buy energy on your company’s behalf, but you also need to consider the cost of their services on top of this.
To find out more, contact Neas directly.
Neas Energy App
Customers can use Neas Direct Access, a dashboard of trading done on their behalf, their assets, live production data, and estimated costs. It’s available on desktop, tablet and mobile.
The Neas Direct Market platform gives the user access to Neas’ trading floor, providing an overview of all prices up to 3 years in advance.
Switching To Neas Energy
There are no switching details included on the Neas website, as they’re not a conventional energy company. Contacting them directly will give you the most reliable information.
Moving Locations With Neas Energy
Different premises can incur different energy costs, so it’s always worth searching for new tariffs and providers to see if they’ll be more affordable if you’re planning to move.
For more specific details about what moving premises could mean for your Neas account, contact them directly.
Neas Energy Fuel Mix
Neas’ energy portfolio includes both renewable and nonrenewable energy, including wind, solar and hydro. It’s up to the customer which energy sources they buy.
Neas Energy Feed-in Tariff
Neas Energy is a voluntary Feed-in Tariff (FIT) licensee. This means you can receive your FIT payments from them (as long as your system is MCS certified) if you are an Neas Energy customer, but they are not obliged to offer this service on an ongoing basis. They do not have a page on their website explaining how this process works.

Another step forward for onshore wind

A look at the onshore wind market, particularly in Sweden. Neas will be trading energy produced by the £800 billion project in northern Sweden.
Neas Energy Complaints
Neas don’t have much of a presence on Which? or Trustpilot, as Neas work with larger companies rather than individual business owners.
The company’s Google reviewers are happy but also anonymous and offer very little explanation.
