Pozitive Energy Business Electricity, Gas & Dual Fuel Tariffs

Pozitive offers business gas, business electricity and dual fuel tariffs for single business sites and companies with more than one premises.

For more specific details and what the costs could be, you can contact them through their website.

Pozitive Energy Background

Much of what’s written about Pozitive Energy is quite vague, and they haven’t got much of a general online presence either. Their website could even be considered primitive compared to some.

In terms of what’s promised on their website, Pozitive promises flexible and fixed business energy tariffs for large and small companies, an online portal which makes balancing multiple premises easier, and 1% of the total contract amount back when you agree to sign another year’s contract.

Pozitive Energy Smart Meter

Smart meters are designed for the most accurate monthly billing, rather than reading a meter manually. The meter also records usage in real-time, so the user knows how much energy they’re using at a glance.

Pozitive customers will arrange the installation of Automatic Meter Readings (AMR Meter), which is similar to having a smart meter and sends automatic readings so customers don’t have to manually report them.

For customers without AMR, meter readings can be sent through the online portal, over the phone or through email.

Other Pozitive Energy Meters

AMR is the only meter type listed on the Pozitive website.

Pozitive Energy Bills

Bills can be paid by Direct Debit only. To set one up or change details, customers can log into their online account or call customer services.

Pozitive Energy App

There’s no app available. Customers can sign into their account to manage their details, payments and meter readings.

Switching To Pozitive Energy

It takes 17 days to switch from an existing energy supplier to Pozitive. They’ll request your first meter reading one day before the switch is complete.

Customers switching need to let their existing supplier know and make sure any past bills are covered.

Moving Locations With Pozitive Energy

If you move to new premises and wish to switch to Pozitive Energy, the energy supplier can assist you. The gas and electricity will be disconnected, and engineers will connect your new pipework again as soon as possible. This will also involve an ‘on-site investigation’ and all the necessary safety checks.

Pozitive Energy Fuel Mix

No fuel mix was disclosed.

Pozitive Energy Summary

There’s a lack of information on their website, but Pozitive does offer the essentials for any business. Their few reviews are positive, but they’re quite vague and there aren’t many of them.

If you’re considering switching your business energy provider, it’s often the prices that become the deciding factor, so enquiring with Pozitive directly is the best place to start.

Pros:

  • Electricity, gas and dual fuel are available.
  • Products for businesses with multiple sites/premises.
  • Online account management.

Cons:

  • Information about pricing and servicing is difficult to find or you have to enquire directly to get it.
  • Not many reviews, so it's difficult to make your mind up objectively.
  • Unclear how competitively priced they are.
