Fischer Energy Background Information
Leicester based Fischer Energy first launched January 2017 but they are not completely new business as they have been installing heating systems through their sister company Fischer Future Heat for many years.

They offer just one simple tariff which caters for electricity, gas, and Economy 7. They provide 100% renewable electricity as standard. Fischer Future Heat customers may be eligible for 5% discount off their energy bills.
Fischer Energy Smart Meter
Fischer Energy plans to start installing smart meters early 2018 and will be installing second-generation SMETS2 meters.
Other Fischer Energy Meters
Fischer Energy support Economy 7 meters.
They currently do not support prepayment meters.
Fischer Energy Bills
Fischer Energy only offers tariffs that are payable by direct debit either fixed or flexible which is agreed when you sign up with them.

Fischer Energy was part of the 2017/18 Warm Home Discount scheme, which gives vulnerable people £140 towards their energy bills, but only for people who qualified as part of the core group. They don’t seem to have any information for 2018/19 on their website at the current time.
